Church Profile

We are a group of relational-based believers within the Body of Christ dedicated to serving our community. We are a casual, independent, non-denominational congregation of 20 to 40 weekly attendees, set in the small farming town of Spangle, Washington, about 18 miles south of Spokane. Founded in 1872 by William Spangle to accommodate the various denominational faiths present in this farming community, it has remained a center of Hope and Faith as the only Church within the city limits while serving the surrounding rural area for many miles around.

We believe all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is the Truth by which we stand. We believe in the eternal trinity of the Godhead. We believe in a personal relationship with God the Father through the free gift of salvation, provided by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, the only mediator between God and man. We believe in the Power of God through the working of the Holy Spirit within each believer. We follow the Evangelical belief tenets and believe the Light of His Love is to shine through each believer in doing His will and our part of the Great Commission.

We serve the community by providing a thriving Awana children’s program with up to 80 participants, a weekly and monthly food bank serving up to 80 households, various weekly relationship and learning opportunities, as well as Sunday morning service and Sunday evening small group study.

We are excited to position our ministry to embrace the opportunities of growth within the expanding community surrounding us by rooting ourselves in the never changing Word of Truth and the guidance and unity of the Holy Spirit.
